9:00 PM: U.S. women's soccer player Alex Morgan has signed a deal with Simon & Schuster to write three books for young readers. Simon & Schuster also published Joe Posnanski's recently released book on Joe Paterno.

8:45 PM: Former LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu tweets: "some of you people are ridiculous... why follow someone who you are just going to trash every time i tweet something.... Y'all need recovery"

8:30 PM: Former NBA player & Phoenix Suns all-time leading scorer Walter Davis is auctioning off his 1976 Olympic gold medal.
